Stacey Favocci, 22, senior at Rider University, has many accomplishments and experiences to take with her, along with her diploma. She is an active member of the campus community, working as a Resident Advisor for four semesters, contributing her time, creativity, and personality at the Student Success Center, and also holding many different positions in clubs and organizations. Stacey has tutored subjects such as all levels of French and Italian, as well as beginning levels of history. She has worked her way up to being one of five Lead Peer Tutors, in charge of the Foreign Language division and has been diligently working on a collaboration between the Foreign Languages and Literatures Department and the Student Success Center to offer more efficient tutoring of foreign languages. She has held different positions in multiple clubs, such as French Club Secretary, Co-President, and Public Relations Chair, and in the Residence Hall Association as a Hall President and Executive Board Chief Financial Officer. She has planned and held many original and unique programs with her organizations. She is also an active member of other organizations on campus, such as Hillel, Rider SERVES, and Midnight Run. She is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society and Pi Delta Phi French National Honor Society. Stacey has a strong educational background as a French major with three minors: American Studies, Public Relations, and Event Planning. Enjoying all aspects of her education equally, she has the ability to choose from limitless opportunities after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree. As a top 18% graduate from Brick Township
Memorial High School, Stacey has brought her thirst of knowledge and strong determination for success to Rider. Stacey has a strong professional background. Working since her teenage years, she has gained experience in retail positions, childcare, and administrative tasks. Since coming to Rider, she has held three administrative positions, two tutoring positions, and has worked as a Resident Advisor. Stacey has received valuable training in many different aspects of life, including emergency and crisis training, organizational skills, management skills, and interpersonal skills, such as interviewing and customer service. At home in Brick, New Jersey, Stacey is the youngest of three children and has two older brothers; one is a university professor of mathematics and the other is working with top companies of sports products. Her mother, a widow, also attends college and will be graduating within two days of Stacey. Stacey plans to further her career experience and establish herself before settling down and starting a family.
