Pete Yore, Guitarist/Singer/Song writer 700 West Adams Rd. Macomb, IL 61455 [email protected] 708-941-7765 _____________________________________________________________________________________
Hailing from the south-side suburbs of Chicago, Pete Yore has performed with a multitude of acts of many genres ranging from Roots Rock Reggae, to Jazz, to Funk, to Neo Soul and R&B, he has played it all. He also writes and performs his own music as well and has won the regional Battle of the Bands competition with his original material in 2016. His list of venues he has performed at include, The Hard Rock Café (Chicago), Elbo Room (Chicago), The Bassment (Chicago), Durbin’s Irish Pub (Oak Lawn), The Harbor’s Edge (Waukegan), The Blarney Stone (Chicago) and many more. On top of his experience as a performing guitarist and singer, he is soon to be graduating from Western Illinois University School of Music with a Bachelors in Music Business. At WIU, Pete studied guitar under Dr. George Turner and has honed in on jazz guitar. He has transcribed several guitar solos from the greats including Grant Green, George Benson and Wes Montgomery. While studying at WIU, Pete has volunteered his talents as a guitar player to the Heritage Ensemble and the Wesley Methodist Church for the Gospel Service on Sundays. He also was a sideman and guitar player for Shantina Lynet and the Hidden Sounds Band which performed around campus as well as traveled to Chicago for regular performances. Outside of playing music, Pete likes to travel, longboard, ride his bike and hike on trails. He is a big fan of movies and art and enjoys visiting museums and art galleries. He enjoys spending time with friends and playing games. Upcoming shows include a WIU Guitar Ensemble performance at Chubby’s, a WIU Jazz Band performance at COFAC Recital Hall and some TBA shows with a jazz quintet at The Apartment on the Square.

As you can see in my bio and EPK, I have a vast repertoire and have amassed a great deal of experience playing on hundreds of stages in front of thousands of people. With the following I have built over the years as a performer, I can draw an audience and keep them dancing and drinking all night long which is great for your business.
