I am writing to express my interest in video making and online communication. Both are crucial in such this digital era where having skill in producing video that can deliver message is a demand. My name is Alvin Dwi Nugroho. I personally perceive myself having strong passion about video making. It is kind of my hobby. I had made several videos since I was Senior High School such as Stop Motion. Some of my videos that I produced were in the form of stories that I shared on Instagram about beauty of nature and about nationality. I also had made some records from activities in Ma’had Al-Jami’ah such as Upgrading and Seminar. There are various activities conducted by GREAT city of Salatiga that are proper to record. Unfortunately, there is no one who has adequate ability in making video. Almost all of us doesn’t have knowledge about how to concept make a proper video to become a proper video. We are lack of training or enrichment program in that field. If I got elected this program VolunTube I would learn how to make a better record video content and one direction communication online. This will enrich my capacity in making a proper and better video. I would use that skills to document the activities of GREAT Salatiga such as by recording the activities of GREAT Greget Reget where people were toking garbage from the rivers, roads and so on. Then to make documentary of teaching in inclusive school where volunteers are working with disable people. In also interesting to make a video of Forest Art Camp that took many different communities in one activity one place with meaningful agenda like planting trees. I also see another important event to record is Basic Training to describe an overview activity of GREAT city. In addition I could share my skill by conducting enrichment program on video making with other volunteers in GREAT of Salatiga. This is to make sure that acquired from workshop can benefit to many people especially local volunteer. Through this activity it would give me self-development to improve my capacity in making video and online communication to produce video from my local community. So there would many people knowing voluntary activities. Another important point is that by sharing my knowledge and skill through enrichment program there would be many people especially volunteers benefit from it.
