Monosurround Germans, British Rex The Dog and Barcelona’s The Requesters will play at the second edition of CEM Winter Festival, taking place from 20 to 22 November at La Mirona, the Blau Club and the Sauvage (older Mas de Nit at St. Gregori). The CEM is organized by the Fundació Electronic Dreams (FED).

The first edition of CEM Winter Festival launched, a year ago at La Mirona, the activities of the FED: a collective of DJs and musicians from Girona willing to spread electronic music in broader and more varied public. This task of promotion and organization of shows has continued with several initiatives, such as FED & Chips Festival, Spring version of the CEM, and residences of its members in different clubs. If the first CEM winter festival took place in one space, in only one but intense day, the second edition will expand to three days and three separate locations: Friday, November 20 at La Mirona, Saturday 21 at the Blau Club and Sunday 22 at the Sauvage, where the party will last from 5 pm until 5 am. Tickets will be sold from early October and has not yet announced the full program, which will be complemented by screenings and extramusical activities in other areas of the city, but three names have already been made public: on Friday 20, at La Mirona, there act the Barcelona’s The Requesters, a revelation group of the electronic dance scene, compared with the Pinker Tones and Daft Punk. And on Saturday 21, at the Blau Club, the Berliner duo Monosurround will present his live exclusively in Catalonia and the londoneer Rex The Dog will offer one of its funny direct acts with canine projections.
