Software Main Tasks • Investigations of interference due to cochannel emissions, out-of-channel emissions and intermodulation • Monitoring of technical transmitter parameters (short-term, long-term, deviation measurements of FM broadcast transmitters) • Field strength measurements • Identification of unlicensed stations • Frequency occupancy measurements • Planning and management of transmitters

Software Measurement of technical parameters

Standard technical parameters can easily be measured and the results displayed in dialog windows, tables and graphics. Typical parameters are Level, Frequency, Bit rates, BER, MER, … All results can be saved in a database for later evaluation and analysis.

Software There are 3 different ways to perform these measurements:

Interactively  Automatically  Guided 

Interactively Operator defines task, measurement starts immediately and the results are displayed (table and graphics). Operator can check results and react accordingly. Automatically Operator defines measurement tasks and time slot(s), measurement will start and stop automatically without any further user intervention. In case of remote control connection can be closed. Guided Operator is guided step by step, only equipment which can perform the specific tasks is shown, default values are given (e.g. depending on the selected frequency or modulation type), indication, if selected parameters are not compliant with respective ITU recommendation.
