The!Michigan!Liquor!Control!Commission!will!hold!a!Public!Hearing!at!11:30!a.m.,!Thursday,!June!18,!2009,!at! the!Farmington!Office!of!the!Commission,!24155!Drake!Road,!Farmington,!Michigan.! ! The!Michigan!Liquor!Control!Code,!Section!215(2),!MCL!436.1215(2)!provides!!that!two!such!hearings!shall!be! held!each!year!for!the!purpose!of!hearing!complaints!and!receiving!the!views!of!the!public!with!respect!to!the! administration!of!this!Act.!!All!government!and!enforcement!officials,!licensees,!and!any!other!persons! interested!in!the!operation!of!the!Liquor!Control!Commission!are!welcome!to!attend.! ! Discussion!will!take!place!on!various!proposals!to!change!the!Commission’s!distribution!system!(i.e.!placing! a!cap!on!split!cases,!increasing!minimum!case!orders,!instituting!a!charge!for!returned/refused!orders,!etc.).! !
