What is the things that we use to determine the materials that can dissolve or not Filter paper

What will happen to the water when the materials are dissolve in water. The water may have a different taste when a material dissolve in it. Example; salt – salty. Sometimes the water also can change it color according to the color's of the material.

Water with dissolved materials in it is called a solution.

When you dissolve sugar in water, you get sugar solution. Sugar solution tastes sweet.

When you dissolve salt in water, you get salt solution.

Salt solution tastes salty.

We can separate the materials that cannot dissolve in water by filtering it.

The material will be left on the filter paper.

Changes the taste of water
