1. UCAPAN PENGERUSI 1.1 Ketua Panitia BI mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua guru yang dapat hadir ke Mesyuarat Panitia Bahasa Inggeris Kali Kedua untuk tahun 2019. 1.2 Ketua Panitia mengucapkan syabas dan tahniah diatas kerjasama guru-guru BI dalam pelaksanaan PLC yang berlangsung pada 5, 6 dan 7 Mac yang lalu. 1.3 Ketua Panitia memaklumkan bahawa program S.E.T (Strike, Efforts, Triumph) telah dilaksanakan. Beliau meminta program ini diteruskan sehingga peperiksaan UPSR bermula. 1.4 Ketua Panitia memaklumkan bahawa Bulan April ialah English Month dan semua guru diminta untuk memberikan kerjasama sepenuhnya bagi menjalankan program tersebut .

3. PERKARA BERBANGKIT 3.1 Tiada isu berbangkit

4. PROGRAM ENGLISH MONTH 4.1 Pupils’ Performance during Assembly 1st April – Sulizah (CEFR song) 8th April – Andy (Story Telling: 2 pupils) 15th April – Victor (Choral Reading) 22nd April – Adlinani (Simon Says)

4.2 3 Words A Day Programme Teachers provide “3 Words A Day” section at the end of the board. Do this activity continuously till the end of the month.

4.3 Spelling Bee Competition Teachers conduct Spelling Bee Competition on 5th and 19th April (in conjunction with English Day). Teachers allocate 15 minutes before the lesson starts. Teachers need to find 2 winners for each week which means at the end of the month, there will be 4 winners for each class – after 2 weeks of implementation.

4.4 Tongue Twisters Teachers conduct “Tongue Twisters” activity in class once a week. Tongue Twister Year 1 One – one was a race horse. Two – two was one too. One – one won one race. Two – two won one too. Tongue Twister Year 2 How many cookies could a good cook cook If a good cook could cook cookies?

A good cook could cook as much cookies as a good cook who could cook cookies. Tongue Twister Year 3 She sells sea-shells on the sea-shore. The shells she sells are sea-shells, I’m sure. For if she sells sea-shore,

Then I’m sure she sells sea-shore shells.

Duck takes licks in lakes Luke Luck likes. Luke Luck takes licks in lakes duck likes.

Tongue Twister Year 4 I wish to wish the wish You wish to wish, but if You wish the wish the witch wishes, I won’t wish the wish You wish to wish

Tongue Twister Year 6 Betty Botter bought a bit of butter. The butter Betty Botter bought was a bit bitter. And made her batter bitter. But a bit of better butter makes better batter. So Betty Botter bought a bit of better butter. Making Betty Botter’s bitter batter better.

Tongue Twister Year 5 Luke Luck likes lakes. Luke’s duck likes lakes. Luke Luck licks lakes. Luck’s duck licks lakes.

4.5 Singing Competition Teachers conduct this programme at the hall on 19th April after recess time.

5. HAL-HAL LAIN 5.1 Harapan pengerusi agar semua guru dapat menjalankan program ini dan ianya akan menjadi program yang berjaya dilaksanakan.
