Efficient use of BLAST, FASTA, ClustalW and Geneious Pro (4.6.2) for sequence analysis, characterization and Primer designing. Nucleic acids isolation and purification. Optimization of different Colorimetric Assays. Anaerobes culturing in MK3 Anaerobic Workstation.  Maintenance and Experimental handling (Survival bleeding, fecal analysis, Dissection etc), of wistar rats for hypocholesterolemic studies. Plasma HDL-, LDL-, VLDL-, Total Cholesterol and TG estimation.  Bacterial Microencapsulation, Maintenance, enumeration, preservation and propagation of bacteria from diverse nature of samples. Characterization of Lactobacillus strains for various probiotic attributes. Computer skills Operating systems: Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and 98.
