Michelangelo Borty Michelangelo Borty was born in which was in Florence, Italy on March 6,1475 . The time was known as Resistance. The 14 through the 17 centuries. The famous artist back then was Dominica Harland he was a painter . Michelangelo stopped painting for that time and started sculpting and learned from Montello.

Michelangelo’s early life Michelangelo's mom was too ill to take care of him. So his father took him to a family of rock cutters and he grew up that way. He had a wife and four children. Michelangelo lived in Florence in the14000 and 1500s. He learned a lot about art when he walked home from school. Their was a lot of art on the streets that’s were most of his education.

When Michelangelo was an adult he lived in three places, Rome, Florence, and Caprese. His Jobs were to sculpt different Bible Characters and to paint the ceiling to the Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo never got married while he was alive. He did not have any children either. Someday I want to have the same kind of talent like him.

Michelangelo 

One of Michelangelo’s most great accomplishments was the Sistine Chapel. Pope Julius II asked him to paint it. Another one of his famous paintings was God Giving Life to Adam. He was also making plans for building the famous dome on top of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Michelangelo’s last sculpture was Rondanini Pieta. I think his life was interesting because he was a sculpture and painter at 24 years old.

Death Michelangelo died in his house in Rome on February 18,1564. Michelangelo lived into he was 89 years. Shortly before his death he burned some of his poems, drawings, sketches, and cartoons. On February 18,1564,feeling restless and feverish Michelangelo sat down and wrote his will. Michelangelo died in his sleep on a cold night. I think it was sad how he died.
