Merry Christmas from Mexico! As we sit down to write this Christmas newsletter to you, our friends and family, our hearts are full of praise to God for the gift of His Son, Jesus. His coming to us was the perfect expression of the Father’s great love. The song says it so beautifully “…and the Word of the Father became Mary’s little Son and His love reached all the way to where I was.” That is the true message of Christmas and the message we desire to share with those around us here in Mexico – that He came for us all. Well, our family has certainly had a busy summer and fall but it has been wonderful to be with so many of you in your churches and homes and to experience God’s grace and strength as we raised our Share Support for this our 2nd 3 year term in Mexico. We are so thankful to you, our supporters, for your sacrificial giving. We know this is a difficult time economically. Your loving support and offerings mean so much to us and we are grateful! A special thank you to all who have already sent Christmas cards and gifts to our family – we appreciate your kindness so much! We thank the Lord for His provision of a home for us to rent in
Bible Methodist Missionaries in Mexico Saltillo. It is a 3 bedroom home in a very safe gated community and is within our budget. We are in the process of getting moved in and settled, getting our belongings out of storage and setting up housekeeping again. We are so thankful to be in our own home again for the first time in 14 months!
We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the entire Sankey Family to be with us over the Christmas holidays. Marc’s parents as well as his sister and family from Alaska will be arriving within a few days. Marc’s father will be speaking in the Youth Convention held here at our church in Saltillo.

Christmas Project for Bible Methodist Pastors and Families The Auburn Bible Methodist Church, under the direction of their Missionary President Judie Burton has organized a wonderful Christmas project for our pastors and their families. Each family has been given gifts – one for each member of the family, specific for their age and gender. There are also special family gift bags for the churches and missions in this district. Items like: Spanish holiness books, tablecloths and napkins, drawstring purses, toys, warm clothing (hats, gloves, etc.) and much more! Here we are dividing up these gifts according to family and getting ready to hand them out in the next few days. Thank you, Sis. Burton and Auburn Church!
Both doctors - the Infectious Disease Specialist and the ENT - were pleased with his progress. The recent MRI results showed just 3 mm of swelling, definitely less than August's MRI and obviously we're moving in the right direction. The ID specialist is leaving him on the Vfend (anti fungal med) for another 2 months, then off for a month, then another MRI in March to see what is happening at that time. The doctor expects that, with his progress to this point, by that time he can be completely off the medication. The ENT wants to leave him on one allergy pill a day (Loratadine 10 mg) for now and was happy with how his sinuses looked. All Logan’s bloodwork was normal. We thank God for His touch on our son and each of you for your love and prayers. Logan and the village kids in San Rafael
We wish each of you a very Merry Christmas! Marc and Melodie Sankey & sons
