Surface preparation to be done i.e. cleaning with the help of wire brush, paint brush, chiseling and if required grinding. And also laitance to be removed. Chamfering to be done for the retention of the water. Water shall be filled on entire slab to check for leakage in concrete if any. Water to be filled up to70mm. After 24 hrs the surface should be checked for the seepages, if found shall be treated. Before treatment identified cracks shall be opened in V shape up to 5mm deep. The dust to be cleaned by using 4” paint brush. Apply TAMMSWELD latex to all the cracks and honeycombs (sunken portion) which is allowed to dry for 1 hr. and is followed by grouting (MYK Arment Arm grout M-50 NS). PVC pipes in the sleeves to be treated externally by TAMMSWELD latex and crushed sand (5mm) to be sprinkled immediately after the application of it. Drying period is 24 Hrs. Chamfering of cement sand mortar mixed with STRONGCRETE polypropylene fibers @125gm/50 kg bag of cement with 10 mm coarse aggregates to be sprinkled on it. TAMMSWELD latex will be used as bonding agent between concrete and chamfer by using brush. Providing & applying MYK Arment Arm grout M-50 NS, a non-shrink grout to fill the space between the pipes & sleeve surface, up to the floor level as required. To ensure that the grout reaches bottom of the sleeves provide plywood at bottom of slab. Water ponding to be done again for checking of leakage in slab if any. If any leakage found then pressure grouting shall be done. Before start application of primer, dust shall be removed using air blower. Surface shall be primed by using TAMMSFLEX WP added with 20% water by volume for maximum absorption, adhesion to substrate and to block the pores. Two coat of TAMMSFLEX WP@ 1.60 kg/sqm shall be applied by using brush, second coat perpendicular to first coat after sufficient hardening of first coat i.e. 6 to 8 hrs. For wall immediately rush coat shall be applied to get the mechanical key for the plaster. After 72 hours, water ponding shall be done for 24 hrs. and inspection shall be done for any seepage. Geotextile membrane sheet of 180-200 GSM as a separator sheet in staggered pattern with 100 lapping. Application of concrete screed (M15 grade) -Laying of 50 mm thick site mix M15 concrete (1:4:2) as an unbonded protection screed for waterproof coating using

   

MYK PROOF IWP 10 (100ml/bag of cement) & polypropylene fibres (125gm/bag of cement) Curing for 2 days by ponding. Brick bat laying of thickness as per the slope. 25 mm thick cement sand top coat mixed with MYK PROOF IWP 10 with proportion (1:4) slope maintained as 1:100 towards trap. Curing for 7 days.
