ENGLISH REWIEW Expanding level Second term Activity guide In this document you will find a complete guide to the activities you should fulfill in case you want or have to recover any indicators you have fail. It is important for you to notice this guide contains all the indicators evaluated but you must focus on those you wish or have to recover. During the week from may 10th through may 15th, you will receive a form to indicate the number of indicators you will be working on. This activities have to to be deliver to the teacher Mauricio Ruiz on May 14th 2009 at 7:00 (that means the second ring of the school bell), no piece of work will be received after this time or date although the pupil presents a coordination certified document justifying for their delay. INDICATOR NUMBER ONE: GRAMMAR Pupils should complete all the copied activities given covering all the grammar concepts studied so far in the period, needless to clarify these exercises should be perfectly done. in case any mistake is found the teacher will give them back for the necessary corrections. Along the week given to complete this task the pupils may ask further explanations on the topics, but not after the dateline. INDICATOR NUMBER TWO: VOCABULARY Pupils should use the copied material given by the teacher so far along the term to study and learn by heart the vocabulary corresponding for every lesson, this includes the list of irregular verbs including Base form, Past, and Past Participle. On the dateline the pupil should deliver a descriptive composition which will include at least 10 elements of the studied vocabulary, underlining in different colors elements of vocabulary and irregular verbs. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE compositions including lists, or lousy descriptions will be accepted in those cases the compositions will be given back for their correspondent corrections to be deliver back on may 15th at 7:00. Each composition must be at least 15 lines long. INDICATOR NUMBER 3: WRITING Pupils wishing or having to recover this indicator will receive an individual task, tasks have already been chosen. The teacher will give each pupil a topic which must be used to write a 20 lines long composition. In this case the elements to be graded will be the consistency of the texts and the grammar. As Pupils may be confused between the grammar indicator and this one it is important for them to keep in mind that compositions are graded according to the grammar they have already in other courses previous to the present one. INDICATOR 4: READING Pupils will receive a number of reading activities to be read and solved. The resulting documents must be deliver on the dateline.
