NEWBORN (0-30 DAYS) I’m a week old on the picture below. My head is bigger than most part of my body. I look so fragile, my skin is reddish and my eyes are open already but cannot see yet. I cry when I’m hungry and feed only on my mother’s milk.

SCHOOL AGE (6-12 YEARS) The following are my pictures from ages six (6) to eleven (12) years old. At six, I am capable already of learning, creating, and accomplishing numerous new skills. I can make friends with others already. My most significant relationship at this stage is with the school, neighborhood and friends. I look chubby at six but eventually slimmed down. By 10, my menstrual cycle began and many physical changes in my appearance and body showed already like having a fuller breast , more developed legs and broader hips.

TODDLER (1-3 YEARS) I’m 2 years old in the attached picture. I can already sit, walk and run by my own. I already eat basically all kinds of food but I still drink milk. My height is almost 3 times the size of me when I was a baby. I can already say words like “Mama” and “Tata” and other basic words. I can already answer basic questions and make effort to communicate with others.

PLAY AGE (4-5 YEARS) I’m a lot bigger in size and taller in height in my picture here at four years old. During this age, I like to copy adults around me and create play situations like being a mother in “Bahay-bahayan“ and teacher with make belief students. I also ask lots of questions to people by using the word ‘WHY?” My most significant relationship at this stage is with my family. I go to school at the age of four, frightened with other children at first but eventually learn to make friends.

INFANT (1 – 12 MONTHS) I’m 6 months old in the picture, I cannot walk yet and my head still supports the weight of my body. I already know to smile back, thus, this is a wonderful and exciting stage of emotional development for me and one that strengthens the bond to the rest of my family. My two front teeth are already showing by 7 months and by 9 months, I can slowly balance my body on my hands and knees while rocking back and forth and eventually learned how to crawl. I like to explore things wherein I put anything in my mouth as a source of gratification.
