Muscles: 1) Masseater on the outer surface of the ramus. 2) Lateral pterygoid pterygoid fossa (neck of the mandible). 3) Medial pterygoid medial or inner surface of the angle of the mandible. 4) Temporalis at tip, anterior surface and inner surface of coronoid process. 5) Mylohyoid attached on mylohyoid line. 6) Genoglossus attached above genial tubercle. 7) Genohyoid attached below genial tubercle. 8) Platisma attached lower border of mandible. 9) Anterior belli of digastric digastric fossa. Ligaments (4): 1. Spheno-mandibular lig at lingual. 2. Stylo-mandibular lig attached to angle of the mandible. 3. Ptreygo-mandibular lig Posterior part of mylohyoid line. 4. Lateral tempro-mandibular lig lateral surface on the neck of condyle. Nerves: 1) Masseteric n. get out from mandibular notch then move on ramus to reach Masseater ms. 2) Mandibular canal inferior alveolar nerve. 3) Grove or impression for mylohyoid nerve. 4) Lingual nerve related to 3rd molar from behind in inner surface. 5) Auriculo-temporal nerve on the neck of condyle, attached maxillary artery. 6) Mental canal pass through (mental nerve and vessels). Artery: Facial artery vertically below buccinator from out side 3rd molar. Maxillary artery.
