I. MOTIVATION 1. Orient the learners about the overview of the unit including the expected output. 2. Ask the learners to sing ‘Paa, tuhod, balikat, ulo’. 3. Elicit initial learners’ responses about the following questions: a. Why do you think the word ‘parts’ important? b. How do microorganisms affect life? (EQ No. 2) 4. Process the responses.
