Arrival time at school on May 22nd is 8:30 am. Everyone meets in the cafeteria. Buses will be assigned at this time. You must bring a bagged lunch for Friday only, as the camp doesn’t supply lunch on that day. We will be eating lunch at camp. There will be a snack on the bus. Food and snacks are supplied for your remaining time at camp. Please do not bring any snacks with you. Make sure that your suitcase is no larger than a carry on for an overhead compartment in an airplane. Your pillow and sleeping bags are separate. Please bundle together and label for easy identification. It can be put in a garbage bag for easy packing. Double check your packing list and your camp rules and regulations so that nothing is forgotten. It is really important that you have extra shoes that can get wet in the kayaking activity. Everyone must wear shoes kayaking. Water shoes would be the best. Please watch the weather to help you decide what clothing to bring. The weather in Orillia is different than Richmond Hill. Generally near the water it is always colder. It is best to bring clothing that can be layered. Don’t forget your toiletries and warm clothing for the evenings. The nights can be cold. The cabins are not heated! DON’T FORGET TO BRING A COPY OF YOUR HEALTH CARD NUMBER. REMEMBER NO CELL PHONES ARE ALLOWED AT CAMP. PAY PHONES ARE AVAILABLE AND IT IS EASY TO REVERSE THE CHARGES TO CALL YOUR PARENTS. Please remind your parents to be at the school for pickup at 5:30 pm Sunday, May 24th. If the buses are delayed we will post that information at http://life09.weebly.com/bustimings.html instead of using the phone tree calling system.
