To Whom It May Concern:

I am very pleased to recommend Heather Cook as a great candidate for a teaching position. Heather was a full-time aide in my classroom for August 2017-May 2018. She was a great contributor to making it a successful school year. While working in my classroom, heather would take the kids to recess, help with grading, make copies, work in small groups, or one on one with students. She was always willing to step in whenever needed. She would sub for me when I was absent, and I always felt great confidence in her abilities and leaving my classroom to her while I was gone. Heather goes a great job at assessing the students’ needs and always interacted with then in a positive and appropriate manner. While the students worked on assignments she was walking around and available to answer questions. She was someone the students could rely on and they always knew they could go to her for help. Heather has great classroom management and does a great job reinforcing positive behavior. While I taught she was always walking around and helping students stay on task. During the school year we had several students with challenging behaviors. Heather knows when to intervene and what to ignore in order to ensure all students can have a positive learning experience. Something that puts Heather above the others I have worked with is that she is great at managing her time. When the students didn’t need her help, she was always to quick and efficient with helping me get things done. Things never went unfinished with her around. Any school would be lucky to have Heather as part of their team. I highly recommend her as a great candidate for any teaching position.
