STAGE I. PRACTICE: OBJECTIVE
: 1. to give the students worksheet. 2. Ask the students to do task I by following the
examples. 3. Check together with the class.
STAGE II. GENERALIZATION OBJECTIVE
: 1. to enable the students to find out the form and use
of the target Structure. ACTIVITIES
: 1. Form group of four. 2. Ask the groups to do task II . 3. Check together.
STAGE III. REINFORCEMENT OBJECTIVE
: 1. to reinforce the student’s knowledge about the structure and give the Students chance to use it.
ACTIVITIES
:
1. Ask the students to do task III.
2. Check together with the class.

EXAMPLE OF SIMPLE PAST 1. I went to Bali two days ago. 2. I studied English lesson last night.
Task I
Change the word in the brackets with the
simple past tense. 1. Mary (ask) something to john on the phone two days a go. 2. Jim and I (eat) lunch at the cafeteria two hours ago. 3. I (go) to bed early last night. 4. Yesterday I (see) Fanika at the library. 5. Tom(put) the butter in the refrigerator last night.
Task II Choose one or two sentence and form the pattern. 1. 2. Task III . Change the sentence bellow by using from positive to negative form. 1. She brought my jacket last last week. 2. He invited me to join with his trip. 3. Moza wrote the letter last night . 4. Andi took the pencil on the table yesterday. 5. Lina made cake 2 days ago.
