Skill: Speaking and Listening Expected Outcomes: Students will identify new vocabulary related to adjectives of appearance and personality. Besides, they will be using this new vocabulary in short simple present tense sentences. Resources: Whiteboard, markers, dictionary, pen, copybook, teacher voice.

Introduction

The teacher will start the class asking the definition of an adjective in Spanish. Then, the teacher will ask about vocabulary they already know in Spanish about adjectives. For example: Alto, chico, feo, inteligente, etc.
Core of the class Pre-stage

The teacher will introduce the appearance and personality adjectives describing some students of the class using the English form of the vocabulary mentioned before in Spanish.
While-stage

The students will work in pairs and will describe some of their classmates using the English present tense, without saying their names, so the rest of the class can guess who is being described.
Post-stage

The teacher will check pronunciation describing one or two students so the rest can be familiarized with the sounds.
Closing

The teacher will review the adjectives and ask students to briefly describe each other.
