LESSON DEVELOPMENT : ENCOUNTER 1 : AN EXCITING BEGINNING ( REFER SOW )

1. Introduce target lexical items. 2. Teacher make a gesture or a mime to represent the new word and pupils repeat mime after teacher. 3. Games – repeat the words like an echo ( going from loud to quiet ). CLOSING : 1. Teacher repeat all the lexical items and do the mime follow by pupils. 2. Good bye song

Recite rhymes – Old Mac Donald 3. Engage activity 1 – Chant A Chain - Announce the game – LETS PLAY CHANT A CHAIN - Place the pictures cards in the line and point to each pictures. - Teacher turn over one of pictures cards and pupils will say the words including the one that is turn over.
