Level: Second year of high school
Skill: Listening, speaking and writing. Expected Outcomes: Students will be able identify their mistakes on the test. Students will predict words they think will appear in a love song and they will express their opinions on the song (whether they like it or not). Students will be able to compare two images by writing short sentences. Resources: board, markers, radio, guide of exercises, poster. Time

The test will be corrected orally so that all students are aware of their mistakes and can clarify any doubt related to the content apart from checking that the correction has been made correctly by the teacher.

The teacher will choose two or three students to review the content of the previous session by making comparisons of the students and asking questions as well.

Pre-listening:

Students will be given the title of the song and they will be asked to predict words and phrases they expect to hear in the lyrics of the song, then the activity will be checked.

While-listening

Students will be given a guide of several activities to complete while they listen to the song (filling in the blanks, matching and correcting some mistakes in the lyrics). Students will be allowed to read the guide in silence first so that they know what they are expected to do.

The song will be played a second time so that students can complete the activity in case they missed some part.

(Students will be asked if they need the song to be played a third time).

Answers will be checked orally and also written on the board when necessary.

Students will be asked their opinions about the song. Did they like the song? What type of music do they listen to?.
