LESSON OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to read and fill in at least 5 blanks correctly. Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and spell at least 5 words correctly. Complementary: 2.1.2 Find out about personal information by asking basic questions. LESSON OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to spell and categorise at least 5 nouns correctly. Complementary: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to say out at least 5 nouns correctly. Lesson delivery 1. Pupil is given the noun foldable. 2. Pupil is guided to complete the foldable by writing the nouns according to the categories and in singular and plural for (M). Pupil is given a set of nouns and she categorise the given words according to the categories in the foldable (L). 3. Pupil is called out at random to give her nouns. 4. Pupil’s discuss her answers with the teacher. Post lesson A list of nouns are written in the board and pupil is called out to categorise the nouns on the board with the help of teacher. Complementary: 1.3 Use appropriate listening strategies in a variety of contexts. LEARNING STANDARD: Main: 5.1.2 Say the words in simple texts, and sing simple songs with intelligible pronunciation, rhythm and intonation. iii) simple actions songs iv) simple songs. Complementary: 1.3.1 Understand the message the teacher or classmate is communicating by using visual clues when they are speaking. LESSON OBJECTIVES: Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to pronounce at least half of the song lyrics correctly. Lesson delivery: 1. Pupil is guided to read through the lyrics. Pupil can ask if there are any words that she does not understand. 2. Teacher plays CD2 40. Pupil can follow the teacher. 3. Teacher plays the track again and this time pupil is guided to move with gestures. 4. Pupil is given some time to practise the song 5. Pupil sings the song with gestures using the karaoke version of the song. Post-lesson: Pupil identifies the nouns in the song. Conclusion  Recaps the lesson. REFLECTION/ IMPACT:

LESSON OBJECTIVES: Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and colour at least 5 pictures correctly. Pupil is given the ‘Listen & Colour’ worksheet. 2. Pupil goes through the tasks at the bottom of the worksheet. 3. Pupil is guided to complete the tasks. 4. Pupil is explained about the listen and colour worksheet. Teacher says out a object and the colour. Pupils listen and colour the object in the picture. Post-lesson: Pupil’s work is checked. LESSON OBJECTIVES: Main: At the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to listen and fill in at least 4 boxes correctly.
