Team Member Skill Inventory (Areas individual members can contribute/want to develop) Erica: I am good at proofreading and pulling things together. I can use more experience with powerpoint. Christie: I have completed my BSN online and enjoy on line learning. I have become good at researching references and am willing to work hard to help the team. Aimee: Great team player, willing to do whatever is needed for team, great with powerpoint Jean: I like researching material, putting together powerpoint text and I will do my best on any assignment Cheryl: Although I am new to power point, I am a hard worker and can stay to task. I am a great teamplayer.

Learning Team Goals (May include project assignment goals, group process goals, quality level goals, etc.) Erica: To establish clear communication as to deadlines, duties, and responsibilities of each team member. Christie: To communicate openly and set time lines for projects to turn in assignment of “A” quality. Aimee: agree with Christie, good communication is crucial, also for each team member to abide by time guidelines set by team members, Jean: To work together to submit a quality presentation. Cheryl: All of above and that when there is a conflict, that the team members can work the conflict among the members. What are potential barriers to the achievement of these goals?

Erica: Losing team members, not meeting deadlines, and not having assignment done in advance to allow for changes. Christie: Some barriers to meet our goals can be current family and professional obligations. Aimee: agree with Christie, Jean: Time is always my biggest barrier. Cheryl: all of the above Ground Rules Meeting schedule, locations, attendance expectations, agenda, assignment completion, communication methods, etc. Erica- Supportive and open communication. Each member will complete assigned tasks by agreed upon deadlines. Christie: Agree to check in on scheduled communication times, and offering assistance to other team members. Aimee: agree with Christie Jean: I also agree. Cheryl: I concur. Conflict Management What are potential conflicts that might arise among or between team members during this course? How do team members agree together that they will deal with these and other conflicts? Erica: Conversation should perpetuate motivational, honest discussion, and be respectful and assertive in all matters. Conflict’s related to assignments should be worked out within the learning team environment with the input of all team members. Personal conflict should be taken out of the learning team postings and dealt with individually between parties, seeking the intervention of the facilitator if need be. Christie: Being able to communicate on different schedules and time zones. Each person can respect conflict may arise but by addressing the problem early together by voting can resolve the issue. Aimee: Agree with Christie Jean: Post any concerns early and give team members time to respond and resolve conflicts. Cheryl: I agree with the above. Faculty Member Feedback to Students
