Paul Carmouche Leads by 10 Points in New Poll SHREVEPORT, La. – Caddo Parish District Attorney and Fourth District Congressional Candidate Paul Carmouche’s campaign today released internal polling results showing Carmouche leading Republican candidate John Fleming by 10 points (45% to 35%) in an initial match-up of all candidates for the December 6 election. Carmouche is also still extremely well liked, with a greater than 3-to-1 favorability margin (53% favorable to 16% unfavorable). “These poll numbers only reflect what we hear across the district – people know that Paul Carmouche is a strong, independent voice for change and that he will work to get our economy back on track for middle class families,” said Carmouche Campaign Manager Greg Richardson. “Paul Carmouche has been an effective, first-rate District Attorney for 30 years, and in Congress he will fight to make our economy work for the middle class and invest in oil and natural gas drilling in Northwest Louisiana to make our country energy independent and bring jobs back to the region.” The poll was conducted November 6-7, 2008 by the Kitchens Group among 600 likely December 6 election voters, with a margin of error of ± 4.0%. NOTE TO EDITORS AND REPORTERS: A detailed polling memo is forthcoming. ###
