KHAIRPUR, March 3: Four candidates of Democratic panel who lost in syndicate elections of Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur have rejected the election results here on Tuesday. The defeated candidates Prof Mohammad Nawaz Chand, Asad Raza Abidi, Prof Dr Nisar Kanhar and Fida Hussain Jatoi while talking to reporters on Tuesday alleged that the candidates who were declared successful had won the elections due to interference and favour of the vice chancellor of the university. KHAIRPUR, March 3: The relatives of eight-year old girl Somia Mahessar who had gone missing from Wada Mahessar since last one month have suspected that she had been kidnapped. Different political and social organizations staged demonstration on Tuesday the second consecutive day against her kidnapping. Somia Mahessar, 8 has been missing from Wada Mahessar taluka Kingri while her relatives suspected that she had been kidnapped. The workers of various political and social organizations led by Amjad Ali Mahessar, Maqsood Mahessar and Abdullah Shar staged demonstration in Wada Mahessar against kidnapping of Somia. The protestors said that the girl was missing since one month but police had not taken any effort to recover her.
