Two hearts joined together forever, February, 28th, 2009!
New Beginnings “Ní furasta ach oiread corda trí dhual a bhriseadh.” (“…threefold cord is not quickly broken” Eccl. 4:12.) MARRIAGE TAKES THREE We once thought marriage took just two to make a go, But we are convinced, it takes the Lord also. And not one marriage fails, where Christ is asked to enter, As two come together, with Jesus as the center. But marriage seldom thrives, and homes are incomplete, Prayer Requests • •

‘Till He is welcomed there, to help avert defeat. In homes where God is first, It’s obvious to see, Those unions really work, for marriage still takes three.
Indeed, Christ is our third strand to secure our lives together. We just celebrated our one-month anniversary together! These days, we have been enjoying learning more how we each think and what best communicates love and respect to one another. The Lord has blessed us in far more ways than we can ever recount. Praises
That our marriage would grow in love • and respect for one another. That we will make wise use of every • moment as we train for the mission field, and have wisdom to know what training we should pursue. That God we make us a channel of His • love. That God would raise up godly leaders in Ireland to reach the world. Pray for Ireland, especially for County Waterford and Wexford this month of April.
God uniting our lives together to better serve Him. God’s provision to provide us a debt free trailer home, which has allowed us to save up to 50% of our income into savings for future mission work: raising a godly family and going to Ireland! For the generous love and support given by our friends and family to us as a couple. We thank you!
Our Vision (Deepening our walk with Christ by raising a godly family and serving Him in foreign missions)
While missions have been on both our hearts since a young age, Kevin received his call to Ireland at the age of fourteen. He hardly knew anything about Ireland or the needs there, but his heart burned to see lost souls won in that land. Also, Darleen, having lived with her family on the mission field, strongly desired to serve God in foreign missions to which she prayed God would direct her to. It has been beautiful to see how God has brought us together for the purpose of serving Him together with a vision for Ireland.
Send the Light Ireland is much like the rest of Europe – lost in complete darkness. We often have the mistaken notion that Europe is already evangelized and (Continued on next page)
places like Africa or Asia are the “dark” continents; however, in fact, both Africa and Asia have far more professing Christians than Europe has had in a long time. Europe is a post-modernistic society that is “darker” than the dark ages. Ireland is no exception. The churches are fragmented and struggling against odds for survival. Whole regions and towns have absolutely no evangelical influence. Our vision, as God has given, is to see Ireland return to its glorious Christian heritage. Ireland has one of the richest histories of missionary influence on Kilarny Bay, by Kevin Weston 2005 Europe and the world. God has a plan for Ireland and the Irish people. We believe God still wants to influence the world through that tiny nation, and, by the grace of God, save a remnant from that land. Nonetheless, this can only be done by people committed to the service of our Lord – those who are willing to live a holy and consecrated life. This is why we desperately crave your prayers, for us and for our Irish people. God needs people like you who are willing to get down on their knees in prayer and beg God for lost souls. Will you join us today in this endeavor?
Ireland Prayer Targets Throughout this year, we’re planning on praying for the counties of Ireland. Please join us to pray for these two Irish WEXFORD WATERFORD counties: Waterford and Wexford. They are both located in the southern coast of Ireland, east of Cork. Pray for the Irish Church to have purpose and vision in raising up believers committed to holiness in Christ.
A Saint’s Confession “I am, then, first of all, countryfied, an exile, evidently unlearned, one who is not able to see into the future, but I know for certain, that before I was humbled I was like a stone lying in deep mire, and He that is mighty came and in His mercy raised me up and, indeed, lifted me high up and placed me on top of the wall. And from there I ought to shout out in gratitude to the Lord for His great favours in this world and for ever, that the mind of man cannot measure.”
- Saint Patrick, St. Patrick’s Confession, Paragraph 12.

The Crock-Pot Mystery We wanted to express our gratefulness to all who made our wedding day such a memorable event. Your love was felt and received. We were astonished by your kindness expressed by your words, your gifts and your acts of service. Thank you for giving. Among all the generous gifts, we received a family size crock-pot. The giver is unknown, as the card was misplaced away from the gift. If you know who may have given us this gift, we would love to express our gratefulness to them.
In the Service of our LORD,
