KEEPING GOD’S GREATEST COMMANDMENT LOVING GOD IS NOT FOR WIMPS! “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Mark 12:30 This would be impossible to do without God changing our hearts. The unsaved, natural, sinful heart loves self more than all. In my little country church, one of our favorite hymns was, “My Jesus, I love thee.” We sang it all the time. “My Jesus, I love Thee; I know Thou art mine. For Thee all the follies of sin I resign. My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou. If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ‘tis now.” The question we have to ask ourselves is not just the question, “Do I love God?” but, “how much do I love God?” It’s like the question Jesus asked Peter three times. “Peter, do you love me?” “Peter, don’t just tell me you love me, show me...feed my sheep.” Feeding His Sheep,

Celebrate Recovery Outreach/Fundraiser Join us on Sunday, August 9th, for a day of fun, right after church. There will be photos with race car drivers from Bandimere Speedway, hotdogs, Long Dog famous sauce, and more. People of every skill level and expertise are needed to complete the following projects: landscaping, carpentry, roofing, carpet, fence building, painting and miscellaneous repairs on the church & parsonage. The cost is $25 to cover meals. If possible, please contribute $125 to help cover material costs. However, no one will be turned away, no matter what you are able to contribute.
