PROJECT NAME:- AGROSERVICE GUIDED BY:- MISS. A.A CHAVAN GROUP MEMBERS:• AHIRRAO RUPALI D. • SONAWANE CHETAN S. • WAGH KAPIL A.

TITLE OF PROJECT:-

AGROSERVICE

Vision:-To bridge the communication gap between farmers and experts by providing latest tools and technologies.

Mission:• To develop a system that will solve the problems of farmers in quick time.

1

• To provide better services for improving productivity. • To develop the attitude to work in team. • To plan the time management efficiently. 

MOTO:“BUILDS THE GREEN EVOLUTION”

Problem Definition:• Stage 1:In the traditional system, farmers having less knowledge about market cost of their product and any agricultural information. Farmers can’t get the immediate solution on their problem in rural areas. •

Stage 2:-Abstract Solution

To develop a system which will provide the market cost of the product and various agricultural information immediately to the farmers. 2

Stage 3:-The proposed abstract solution can be implemented in various ways:

1.Telephone

2.Fax System

3.Postal Services

4.Online Radio Shows

Stage 4:- Final Implementation

As some diseases reduces productivity of crops, farmers suffers big financial losses. To overcome this problem and to increase the productivity of crops we are providing the solution as agroservice. Farmers just need to give symptom of disease which affects their crops, he just has to give details with the help of SMS facility of mobile. SMS will come to our server through interconnections of mobile service then our server checks in its database about the details of disease. If any match is found then it 3

again look in database for the best controller pesticide on that disease then whatever result will come that result it again send back to farmer. This will provide the facility of getting price information on mobile handset. The user has to send his query to the server requesting price information. The server will then search the database of present prices and send reply accordingly. 

Product Survey:• Agricultural Market Information Systems(AMIS):-

The designed system used actual agricultural data and took into account both the low literacy levels of farmers as well as limitations of the mobile screens and text capacities. The proposed commercial system will collect up-to-date market information (via cell phone or computer) fed into a database managed on a SMS Server, which would then be accessible to clients requesting price information for agricultural products via text messaging. The text 4

messages would both request and receive price information. The proposed Agricultural Market Price Information Collection through mobiles in a developing country can have the following impact: The bargaining position of farmers with traders can be improved. Farmers with timely and reliable information and the ability to interpret it can decide which market they should send their produce. Market information should be beneficial for consumers as well as farmer. Such a system would not only be used to farmers but also to the government and helps to bring the agricultural economy to a more equitable level.
