Just Dreaming Take hold of my hand, And I will show thee the way. To the everlasting place, Of the everlasting day. From the very same place, Does each one start. The last time we met, Moments before we did part. And in that long moment, As we stand holding hands. We are caught up in the winds, As we fly off the lands. Higher and higher, Ever on ward we would go. Over the vastness of the seas' To the richest of the meadows. And there would we rejoice, Her and I we would play. The darkness never comes, Dreams last forever this way. The butterfly that did flutter, When it alighted upon her hair. The very one that said there was none, In all the meadows that could compare. Oh the style of her walk, Which proceeds every graceful move. And how her complexion shines, Fore, her skin is so soft and smooth.

For a moment she was out of the way, And I feared she had strayed too far. I raised up my voice and called out her name, And there was dancing in the daylight stars. To my surprise and happieness, And to my fondest feelings of content. She was not out of the way nor strayed too far, Rather, with one knee to the ground she bent. As she smelled the flowers, Her dark golden hair was dancing in the breeze. Dancing to the song being sung for her, In the whisper of the distant trees. Of all the flowers in the meadow, She chose only one. A dazzling white Lilly, With the brilliance of the sun. With this flower settled, In the waves of her hair. I could not blink my eyes, Neither shift my stare. As she walks up my way, In that beautiful graceful style. Her radiance was tripled, When she sent forth her smile. She parted her lips, And began to speak. As she came up the trail, She had made with her feet. She asked if there was anything wrong,
page 2
Because to her apparently. My stare goes on and on, As if it continued on endlessly.
page 3
I was truly going to answer, But I forgot what I was going to say. Because the sound of her voice, Swept my heart away. I found myself wondering If ever, my ears heard such a sound. That came forth from this precious woman, Whose love I was praying I found. I wondered if ever my heart, Truly tried to perceive. The value of such a love, And what it now means to me. My pondering was stopped, As my heart beat fast. Toe to toe, She was standing at last. I put her arms around my waste, And gently locked them there. I put my right hand to her back side, As my left hand melted in her hair. She lifted her head, And when her lips touched mine. They sent a tingle throughout my body, Which converged, on the tip of my spine. Her mouth was moist and soft, Her lips were pure delight.
page 4
My heart had grown a set of wings, To soar with the dancing lights. The fragrance of perfume, From the flower in her hair. Compelled me to hold her closer, Ever closer ever near. How long were we this way, Our bodies so pressed together. With the wings upon my heart, It seemed just like forever. Drawing my lips from hers, I found myself hypnotized. Staring into pools of green, The color of her eyes.
page 5
I was completely helpless, Or so it would seem. Trapped within her eyes, Swimming in pools of green. I found my self wondering if ever, She could be fore, real. Because of the delicacy of this beautiful woman, And how she captivates me; to make me feel. She must have read my mind, For somehow she seemed to know. As she gently broke free of my arms, And turned as if to go. She started to walk and then to run, When the winds had taken her away. As I tried to figure out just why,
She could not or would not stay. The wings of my heart were clipped, As it fell to its place like a rock. The song in the trees' settled with the breeze, To the silent ticking of times' majestic clock. page 6 Tears were streaming down my face, Like rain falling from the sky. She did not say where she was going, Neither, would she say why. I walked through all the meadows, To the far and distant trees. Then from there to where the mountains, Gave way to the deep and rolling seas'. I found my self a spot on the cliff, Over looking the shores below. And though the tears had ceased to run, Still I did not know. Why did she have to leave me? Why did she not stay? Where did she really go? When she left and went away. Searching with all my knowledge, Which came to know avail. Like the pounding waters, on the jagged rock. The waters could not prevail.
page 7
I looked up the shore line, To where waters crushed rock to sand. At least they prevailed, I could tell as they hailed; We can make it to the land.
What was her name? I frowned; remembering what it was. And how the daylight stars did dance, When I called her by name; My Love. Losing my self in memories, I had only begun to realize. How I longed fore, those pools of green, To be trapped within her eyes. Oh how I longed to be in her arms, To have them tight about my waists. To feel the warmth of her smile, To look upon her face. Just then a bird flew out in front of me, As an eagle screamed out from above. The bird returned to nest in the trees, As the other eagle was catching up to her love. page 8 I turned my attention to the shore line, Watching the waves tumble to the beach. But something was out there floating, My thoughts raced at what it could be. It was out there a ways too far, To make out exactly what it was. My heart began to pound, At the thought it could be my love. There was no way to scale the cliff, And far too long to cut through the trees. Four miles high with a superman's dive, I dove from cleft to sea. This is just my dream,
I should be able to grow wings and fly. My love for her compelled me, To take this foolish dive. Where are those wings? I wondered, as I fell through the air. And so it seems, that even in dreams; When you need them, they're never there.
page 9
Falling through the air, As helpless, as I could be. And by the time I hit the water, It felt more like bricks than sea. Deeper and deeper, I plunged, Down to the oceans floor. And by the time I got free from the mud, My lungs said, "Of air we need more." Swimming with my arms, And paddling with my feet. Racing faster and faster, Till with air; I did meet. As I broke the surface, Filling my lungs with air. Lo and behold it was My Love, Or so it did appear. I could hardly believe it, Right before my very eyes. A small little dory, With the words, My Love, inscribed. Mustering up the last of my strength, I heaved myself aboard.
page 10
Contemplating the way things were going, My luck I began to up hoard. I must have fallen asleep, Or passed out for a while. Fore, when I awoke still in the boat, All I could see was her smile. I said to myself now wait a minute, Fore, I know this cannot be. When I climbed into this boat, There was no one else but me. She laughed with a laughter, That sang to my soul. She said, "Silly young man, When shall you ever begin to know? Do you not remember? The last time we had met. When you took me by the hand, Saying on ward shall we set. And when the winds of time had come, And carried us away, Bringing us to this place, Of thee everlasting day." I rose to my feet, Pinching myself on thee arm. Least I should awaken, To find myself back on the farm. To my joy and more so, To my very surprise. I could not even awaken myself,
page 11
So I gazed once more upon her eyes. As she continued on with speaking, Trying to say something to me. I moved close enough to touch her lips, Showing silence, for now should keep. I took her by the hands, And set them once more about my waists. And kissed her lips like none before, Least this moment should go to waste.
page 12
Only after my heart regained its wings, To soar upon the heights. Did I draw my lips from hers, Too check on the dancing lights. Her posture was impeccable, And her wisdom was at its best. And though I kept my focus to her eyes, I could not help but notice her breast. With each and every breath, This precious woman would breeth. They would rise and fall, Like the waves of the sea. To my shame I found myself wishing, I was a magical surfer in some sort of way. Because if I was that magical surfer, I would ride those perfect waves. It had taken at least an hour, Or perhaps even more. Till the ocean's tide had finally, Brought the dory ashore.
page 13
I carried her over the threshold, From the boat onto the beach. I asked her what she had said before, Before I was caught up in her ecstacy. The brightness of the day light stars, Was playing glitter on the clean white sand. When she turned and confronted me, Taking also my other hand. As she lifted her head, Her whole body began to sway. She was dancing to the melody, She had found in the waves. The breeze had begun to blow, And the whisper from the far and distant trees. Had drifted down from the mountain tops, To mix with the waves in perfect harmony. Her radiance had returned, Her entire body began to glow. She said," Tell me my love. That is; if you really know?" She said, "If this is your dream, Then how can it be, The songs in the wind. And the melody from the sea?" Was it the hundredth waltz?, Or still the same one. I could not tell, I was having so much fun. Once more did I find myself,
page 14
Trapped within her eyes. As slowly we came to a stop, To stand there mesmerized. Slowly almost as if we floated, Down to our knees. She parted her lips, As if she were going to speak. She opened her mouth, And to my wildest and deepest desire. She sang to me her never ending song of love, Igniting this never ending fire. "If you were all the buds, To all the flowers of the field. Then I shall be the stems there of, Sending you forth to make you yield. If you were all the towering trees, Guarding the lands from up above. I shall be the ground beneath, Saying grow higher and stronger my love. If you were all the wind, Then I shall be the breeze. For then would we be together, As we danced around the trees. If you were all the waves, Of the deep and rolling sea. Then I shall be all the life there in, For together we shall always be. If I were a bird who startled you, Quickly would I leave.
page 15
Then would I return to you, When I would nest once more upon the tree.
page 16
If you were an eagle, Who let out a scream from above. I would be thee other eagle, This is my dream my love. If you fell from the highest cleft, Landing into the sea. I would be as a boat my love, Waiting to rescue thee. If I were all thee ocean, And you were all the land. Surly would we mingle, When we would meet in the sand. If I were the pounding waves, And you were the jagged rock. Surly would we mingle, According to times majestic clock. Oh my love my love, When shall you ever see. All the things thou hast done, And why I am come to thee. She said my love when I am departed, It is only because of fate. Oh please my love remember me, When thou art then awake. When you are in the world of truth, And not here in its reality. Oh please my love, oh please,
page 17
Do remember me." I said, "How shall I find you out my love, Fore, the world is so large it seems." She said, "Write for me my songs of love, And I shall sing for you my dreams." She said, "My love, if you love me, As much as you in truth do say. Then the winds of time shall bring us together, On thee everlasting day. Since I say to you, You in truth do say. Then please do understand, You are my truth, and my everlasting day." Then I said, "I remember who thou art. Thou art come from, who I am. Thou art all my brilliant beams of light, Who were cut off, when the wars began. Thou art all my love, all my beauty, All my joy, even more. Thou art the very reason, I have fought in times endless war. All that pain and hatred, How it filled me with jealousy. When that evil wicked one had sinned, Cutting you off from me. Right in the whole of creation, As the beams were traveling in all their ways. When that evil wicked one struck out, Leaving them in torment till this very day.
page 18
Oh how I swore to an endless war, That vengeance would be mine. That no matter how long it would take me, God was the maker of time.
page 19
Since there were none greater in the heavens, I swore by myself and me. That I would redeem their fate, By obtaining the Victory." She had begun once more to smile, For what reason, I did not know why, Because of the mood of my emotions, As well as the tears in her eyes. She began to smile more joyous, Then she had ever done before. Her radiance was like that of the Sun, Setting aglow all the shore. She set the palms of her hands, To the cheeks of my face. And where my somber mood had been, Her abundance of love; and tender joy replaced. She hugged me and kissed me, Saying," I thank you, most graciously my Lord. Truly thou art the one who wields, The sharp and two edged sword.
page 20
I thank you once more for all that thou hast done, Fore, now I know thou art Victorious; Truly thou art the one. Fore, thou hast gave me the answer, That was lost since the dawn of time.
And now, I must return, to all the places, From whence, I am come into thy mind." She bowed her head and swore, By all that is above. That she would return to me, As a bride adorned for her love. She said, "Thou art come to me as my day, Where as before, I was to you as night. But because of your love, and his precious blood, You have forgiven and given me everlasting life." She said, "I am the whole of creation, And all the worlds and souls there of. And you are come to me as my savior, My Lord, My Truth, My Love." {Copyright protected by Heavens Guardian} Christopher Peter Kinch
