 includes preventing access above and below the area.  The Radiographer and Assistant Radiographer shall check the area to ensure that all non-authorized personnel have left the area P.A. announcement shall be made 30 minutes prior to radiography commencing, advising all affected personnel to make safe their workplaces and vacate the area. Another P.A. announcement shall be made 5 minutes prior to radiography commencing, advising affected personnel to vacate the area immediately. A final PA announcement shall be made to announce the commencing of the radiography. Each announcement shall be repeated twice  RPO must have PTW (Dukhan QP)card  Approved radiation safety procedure and radiation emergency procedure.  Radiography shall be done by experienced trained and MOE (minister of environment, Qatar) authorized technicians.  Source under lock and key.  Personal Monitoring.  Area monitoring using radiation survey meters  Daily equipments check list by RPO.  Maintain daily and monthly dose record through film badge.  Personal monitoring through dosimeter.
