名前: _____________________________ Japanese Food Project To successfully complete this project you must: 1) Complete one of the following (your choice): A) Prepare enough of the food for at least four people to sample. B) Write a one page paper in Japanese about the food (how it came about, is it regional, is it popular, how you make it, how it is eaten, etc.) 2) Submit a list of ingredients used to make the food and a paragraph (at least 3 sentences) describing the food (appearance and taste). NOTE: If you wish to do a Japanese food that does not involve ingredients (e.g. pocky, hi-chew, etc.) you may, but you must 1) bring enough of the food for 4 people to sample and 2) submit a one page paper that includes both information about the food and a description of the food.

You will sign up indicating what food you would like to do, and your food choice must be approved by the instructor. The food and the description (with ingredients list) are to be brought to class and submitted in 2 weeks (Thursday, May 21st). Any foods or food descriptions (with ingredients list) brought after that date will be considered late. Grading Rubric: The food: The ingredients list:
