Baptism Class - Date Change The Baptism Class that was scheduled for Sunday, September 6th has been rescheduled for Sunday, September 13th at 5:00 pm in Room 200. Please call Angie Lang at 303/806-2603 if you would like to participate.

Waves Lock-In: A Mid-High All-Nighter All 7-9 graders, come join us on Friday, September 11 from 7:00 pm to Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 am. Cost is $30 or bring a non-DFC friend and you each pay $25. This fun filled night will include a trip to “Boondocks.”

Pastor Shawn’s Schedule September & October •





September 13th is “Kick-Off” Sunday! Pastor Shawn will be here and preach that morning. Invite your friends! This will be a great Sunday and you can get information on all of our fall activities. Saturday, October 2nd we will host the Casting Crowns/ Matt Redman concert. That Sunday, October 4th, Pastor Shawn will speak in our morning service. Sunday, October 18th is the “Installation Service” for Pastor Shawn. This will be his first “official” Sunday as our Lead Pastor.

Please be in prayer for the entire Siegfreid family during their time of transition. This week, especially pray for Shaden Siegfreid. He is son of our new Senior Pastor, Shawn Siegfreid.

Caregivers, Monday, September 14th Caregivers is a monthly support group, led by Linda Case, for those providing care to an aged or chronically ill loved one, while losing sight of themselves. It meets the 2nd Monday of every month in the Community Room. Elder care is available upon request. This month, Pat Eckhardt will lead a workshop on Boundaries, a book by Cloud & Townsend. Women of the Word Begins the Week of September 15 Two days and times are available: Tuesdays at 9:30 am and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Both meet in the Fellowship Hall. We will be studying Genesis. Books will be available in the class. For more info, contact Karen Gunstream at 303/805-8660.
