ISSNIP-SENSEI Summer School Challenges and Directions for Sensor Networks The ISSNIP-SENSEI Summer School is being held at the University of Melbourne on the Wednesday November 12th and Thursday November 13th, 2008. The summer school will encompass a range of topics related to sensor networks technology, current work and ongoing challenges. Featuring leading speakers from Europe and Australia, the school will provide valuable insights for research students, post-docs and academics alike into this interdisciplinary field. Registration is free and lunch is included. Numbers are limited. To register, simply indicate your intention to attend via email to [email protected] Topics and speakers: Real World Internet scenarios including audio visual showcases, and global architecture of the SENSEI framework and its eco-system Alex Gluhak, Ericsson, Ireland WS&AN islands envisioned for SENSEI including protocols and interfaces with the global framework Jussi Haapola, University of Oulu, Finland GRID computing for Sensor Networks Raj Buyya, University of Melbourne, Australia Wireless reprogrammability, routing and energy efficiency in networks.
