Israel was found by the Jews. Jews went to Israel because the were being hunted by Nazi's. They were in the Holocaust at the time and the Nazi's already killed 6 million Jews, so every Jew that was found were killed. Israel was beloved to be the land that god gave to Abraham. The population of Israel is about 7.4 million people.
