NHA Region X Proposed Budget for the Inter-Agencies Social Services Meeting

In connection to the above subject, we would like to request a favorable approval for this Regional Office to hold the Inter-Agencies Social Services Meeting on the 11th day of October 2017. Rationale: Last December 17, 2011, Cagayan de Oro City was devastated by the Typhoon Sendong, thus, many of the ‘Kagayanons’ have lost their homes and were displaced. The Government has provided the survivors with Housing Assistance and they are now relocated to their new communities. Even so, this has caused the beneficiaries strain to their economic activities. In this half-day activity, representatives from different government agencies are invited to present the programs and services they can offer, wherein our Sendong Relocatees/Beneficiaries can benefit from it. Objectives: The Inter-Agency Meeting aims to: 1. Provide livelihood opportunities to our Sendong Relocatees 2. Familiarize the programs and services offered by the different government agencies 3. Establish collaboration among government agencies and NGOs Venue: Buffalo Resto Grill Participants: 30 Participants a. Representative/s from different government agencies: -DSWD, CSWD, DOLE, DepEd, DTI, TESDA, DA, DOST b. Officers from different resettlement sites: NHA-Mambuaya, NHA- Macapaya, NHA-Iligan Bay Vista Village c. NHA Personnel: 4-6 Personnel

Recommendation: The amount of Php 4,950.00 shall be charged and part to the approved MOOE budget for Region 10 Project Office.
