25 March 2019 Mr. Rudebusch 310 E. Harry St. Castlewood, SD 57223 Dear Mr. Rudebusch, I am writing this letter for my Senior Project that I have already begun. I have already job shadowed the Welding Technologies department at Lake Area Technical Institute. As I am researching and further developing my knowledge towards the program and what it has to offer for its students. I have chosen this field because I grew up holding the welding gun and I think it is a very fun job to pursue. I was looking forward to shadowing at LATI for two reasons: to learn more on what they have to offer to their students and to see what it’s like in an everyday welding class. I contacted Chad Voelsch, a welding instructor at LATI via text and set up the dates to come in and further discussed what I need to know as far as what to wear, what’s expected, etc… I hope to make the information a gathered from Chad and his students useful as I proceed to work through my senior project. I am excited to learn and hopefully understand where my future will lead me. Sincerely, Bradley Heyn 800 Golf View Dr. Castlewood, SD 57223
