Insights in my sights... Bislig City Division Educators' Congress 2008 Bislig City Division Educators’ Congress 2008 weaves a new dimension in my life as a teacher. It made me realize important things that a modern teacher must possess. It made me more worthy of the profession that brings all the best in me; being a teacher! It made refresh all the roles that I must unconditionally perform. The core values that both our division and the entire agency are advocating should be carried out in the grassroots to which I as a teacher am grounded. Service, being the trail of the exodus for learning must be done in servant leader manner. Guided by the dogmas of NCBTS, our learners will surely develop holistically while nurturing the teachers into a much better forbearer of truth and light of life. Loving my work is the primordial goal in my life now for I maybe the factor that makes or breaks an innocent life of my learner. This congress further illuminates the purpose of teaching which is not just bringing fun to my learners but also a genuine joy a fact, sometimes overlooked in a classroom. Interestingly, these facts that I realized in this gathering will somehow pave the way towards a better paradigm that my educational leaders are aiming. I love the fact that I belong to this group of people who authentically care for mankind by stewarding freedom from ignorance and inefficiency. Gone are the days of a busted paradigm…a learning archetype which ignores the needs of learners and the demand of ever-changing times. It is the era of facing the truth. The truth that directly leads to the longings of the souls dwelling in my four-walled paradise called classroom - my learners! Mabuhay ang BCD’s Educators’ Congress 2008!
