Immune system • The Immune system it’s the body system that fights off infections. Our body contributes to the immune system.
Lines of defenses • The first line of defense is our skin it surrounds and protect our insides. Mucous membrane this is hair like cilia which traps pathogens with sticky liquids. Next up is the circulatory system the immune system relies on this when pathogens get inside our body.It coordinates attacks and transport specialized cells to the infection.
T and B cells A T cell destroys body cells infected with pathogens. A B cell produces proteins that inactivate pathogens that have not yet infected the body
