82. PLEATEX BLIND– these are made up of stronger paper than balastore blind and have smaller pleats. 83. AUSTRIAN BLIND– these are ruched fabric (trimmed with gathers). These are mostly used in banquet halls and large lobbies for sumptuous effect. 84. SHUTTERS – act as a layer of indoor insulation over a glass window panes.. 85. SCREENS– these are in form of hardboard panels with cut out panels of fabric stretched across a wooden frame. 86. DRAPES– it refers to a loosely hung soft furnishings. these are made up of heavy fabric and are lined sometimes. 87. SASH CURTAINS– these are the type of glass curtain hung on window sash. 88. DRAW CURTAINS– these are made of translucent or opaque fabric and are mounted on transversrod. 89. CASEMENT CURTAINS– these cover the entire window and have casings at both top and bottom. 90. TIE-BACKS CURTAIN– either one panel can be tied back to one side or both the panels can be tie back to the two sides. 91. CRISS CROSS CURTAINS– both the panels overlap each other at the top along the entire width of thewindow and they criss cross each other. 92. FRENCH CAFÉ CURTAIN– these cover only lower part of the window with the casing slipped over the tension rod mounted in the window frame. 93. COTTAGE CURTAINS– these are the combination of cottage curtain and tied back curtains. 94. TIER CURTAINS– these are the double decker café curtain. 95. SWAGS– decorative drapery treatments meant to hide the curtain heading and usually temperinga cascade. 96. TUFT– an individual yarn resulting from a single penetration of the primary backing of a carpet bya threaded needle. 97. SHOJI SCREENS– Japanese screen originally made of rice paper mounted on a wooden frame coated with black lacquer , but now available in translucent plastic materials. 98. PARQUET- a type of high quality hard wood flooring in which decorative hardwoods are cut into blocks and formed into panels. 99. SISAL– a fibre obtained from the leaves of a plant resembling cactus. The fibre is used for makingtwine, rope and sacks. 100.BLEEDING– a loss of colour when a fabric or textile product is wet usually due to improper dyeing, or addition of too little mordant, or the poor quality of the dyestuffs used.
