Hope in a Dreary Circumstance “When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you” (Deut. 20:1). On the whole, this scripture divulges a great deal about life in general. In fact, if we seize the opportunity to glimpse into the heart of God, we may witness the grand, potent, and triumphant message of encouragement, hope, and trust. With that said, this powerful message articulates that in the face of adversity don’t be afraid, be encouraged the Lord is with you. Have hope, even though the present situation looks grime, the Lord is with you. Doubt is a natural phenomenon, but the message also has a vast proposal for trust. In fact, if we continue gazing under the hood, we will discover that cup of comfort in which we long to have so much. The Lord brought someone out of their circumstance, but they still doubt, thus the Lord says He is still with you, have faith. Thus, in the face of adversity don’t be moved. In the face of sorrow, have hope. On the stage where everyone can see the vicissitudes (i.e. the ups and downs) of your life, hold your head up high. In His Gracious Service, Rev.
