Presented by the Middle Georgia Technical College Foundation and community sponsors What: Reverse raffle benefit and silent auction. Includes a low country boil and pig pull dinner, music and fun, cash bar, and a guaranteed good time!

Prizes: A grand prize of $10,000 will be awarded to one winner. Three $100 prizes will be awarded to the first, 50th, and 100th ticket drawn.

When: Saturday, November 21, 2009. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and raffle begins at 6:30 p.m.

How does a reverse raffle work?: A maximum of 300 tickets will be sold. A minimum of 150 tickets must be sold for the raffle to take place. All tickets purchased are entered into the drawing. As tickets are pulled, the ticket holder is given the chance to buy back in or be eliminated from the drawing. Each ticket can buy back in only once. After being pulled for the second time, the ticket will be eliminated from the drawing. The last ticket in the drawing will be the grand prize winner. The ticket holder, or a representative, must be present to win. A complete set of detailed rules will be distributed at the event.

Where: Hooterville Farms is located on Landings Drive, off of Highway 41 between Russell Parkway and Highway 96. Why: To benefit the MGTC Foundation in support of workforce development and student scholarships at Middle Georgia Technical College. Tickets: For a $100 donation, ticket holders receive admission and dinner for two, two drink tickets, and one chance at the $10,000 drawing. All donations to the MGTC Foundation are tax deductible.
