HIGH HOLY DAYS 2009/5770 CHILDREN AND TEEN INFORMATION Preschool and Elementary Children’s Progamming: All individuals, including children who attend services in the sanctuary or social halls must have a High Holy Days ticket. Developmentally appropriate, creative, fun alternatives to the services are available at a variety of times throughout the High Holy Days season. For children 18 months through 6th grade, please refer to the schedule on the back cover for specific times. Children who are not registered for these programs must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Drop-off and pick-up for children is in the Fanny and Joseph Goldberg School Building. There is a $36 charge for all Holy Days sessions, payable at the time of registration. Drop-in service is available based on state-mandated child/staff ratios, at a cost of $50 per session/per child.

Preschool Program: Children age 18 months through 4 years will be supervised by qualified early childhood educators. If your child is in diapers, please make sure to leave two diapers with your child’s name written on the diaper each session and a change of clothes. Any other special items your child needs should be clearly marked with your child’s name.

Kindergarten - 6th Grade Program: Students will travel by grade and rotate between prayer, games, drama, music, snack and arts & crafts. We’ve hired an excellent staff to work with our children. Please note there are certain sessions that will consist of supervised childcare, but do not have educational programming. Children will NOT be dismissed from any program until a parent/guardian picks them up. If the adult service runs late, we will supervise children in their final station until you come to pick them up. We will not have your children come in and out of the program more than once.

Teens: An informal educational program with Rabbi Adam and Jennifer Weiss will be available for students 7th grade and older in the Multipurpose room from 10:30a – 12:30p on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Teens interested in volunteering to serve as assistant teachers in the Kindergarten - 6th Grade Program may sign up with the Religious School Office. Pending approval by the Religious School Principal, teens will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. NAME OF TEEN
