ACTIVITY TITLE : Hazard Identification (HAZID)
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION :
1. HAZID Study shall cover JRN-A platform, host-tie platform and associated pipeline. 2. A high-level HAZID shall be conducted for JRN-K platform for the sole purpose of providing HAZID basis for subsequent Safety studies of the platform (refer to HS-905). 3. HAZID study shall be a structured review that provides systematic approach to the identification and screening of hazards. HAZID shall be in line with PTS 60.2004 4. Facilitator to prepare the HAZID Terms of Reference (TOR) also shall be distributed to the review team (COMPANY) to get approval prior to conducting the HAZID workshop. 5. CONTRACTOR to ensure that documents for HAZID have gone through line reviews within the CONTRACTOR’s and COMPANY’s organization prior to conducting HAZID Session. 6. CONTRACTOR may appoint/engage a Third Party (3rd) Facilitator and scriber to conduct the HAZID study which shall be approved by COMPANY. 7. The HAZID study shall cover the scope of the project including impacts to existing Facilities (if any). 8. The risk shall be assessed for each hazard before and after safeguards are in place using COMPANY Risk Matrix. 9. If the safeguards are deemed insufficient, recommendations need to be provided to reduce the risk level to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP). 10. CONTRACTOR to ensure that all HAZID action items are followed-up and their resolutions are properly justified and/ or incorporated into the final design package.
ACTIVITY DELIVERABLES : 1. HAZID Terms of Reference (TOR) 2. HAZID Study report. 3. HAZID Close-out report. 4. Incorporate HAZID findings in the design, affected drawings and documents (Field Layouts, Equipment Layouts, philosophies, etc.) 5. HAZID findings and close out to be included into the Project HSE Register to identify and track the hazards.
