Admissions Procedures Step 1 -Submit a completed application with a non-refundable $15.00 fee* to the Admissions Office. (*Former students may be exempt.) Step 2 -Take the admissions test if you have not taken the ACT, COMPASS, SAT, CPE or ASSET within the last five years. Transferable college credit (English & Math) may take the place of admissions testing. Some programs have additional requirements. Step 3 -Have official high school or GED and all college transcripts mailed in an official sealed school envelope to the Admissions Office. Complete a Transfer Credit Evaluation Request Form if you have transferable college credit. Step 4 -Visit the Financial Aid Office to see if you may be eligible for tuition assistance.
Financial Aid Financial aid is available in a variety of forms. The HOPE Grant is available to certificate and diploma students. The HOPE Scholarship may be available to degree-seeking students. In addition, Pell Grants, VA benefits, and other forms of aid are available. The most important step in obtaining financial aid is applying early. Call 770-228-7368 for details. Tuition and Fees
Tuition is $36 per credit hour to a maximum of $513. Quarterly mandatory fees include: student activity fee of $16, registration fee of $26, technology fee of $35 and an accident insurance fee of $4. Some specialized programs have a different fee structure. There is a $25 returned check fee. Fees are subject to change without notice.
