Grace Rebber

To Whom It May Concern: This letter serves as my highest recommendation for Grace Rebber. I have known Grace for 2 years, first as a member of my swim team and later as an employee. I have seen her display kindness and a solid work ethic both in the pool and at Shields Park Pool. I have had the pleasure of watching her grow and mature and gladly give her my highest and unqualified recommendation. Academically, Grace has 4.385 standard GPA, 3.674 not weighted GPA and is ranked 32nd in her class. She is on schedule to earn an Academic Honors Diploma. Grace has been on the High Honor Roll and Honor Roll all through high school. She will be a three year varsity member of the Seymour High School swim team. Grace also swam for Seymour Swimming (USA Swimming). Grace is a member of the National Honor Society and is a D.A.R.E. Role Model at Seymour High School. Her interests at school include Choir/Music (3 years), Art (1 year) and Spanish Club (1 year). She is also an 8 year member of Jackson County 4H. She plans to attend IUPUI, Indiana University or Indiana State University to major in Nursing or Radiology. Unlike most teachers or coaches who only know their students and athletes for a few classes or ten hours a week on the field 4 months out of the year, in swimming we spend 2-3 hours a day in the pool everyday 8-9 months out of the year. Also, getting to know her on a professional basis at Shields Park Pool, I have seen her display a solid work ethic in a job requiring a great deal of responsibility working in the Front Office, It is a result of this time spent together that I can assure you Grace has the potential to succeed. Any consideration that is awarded to Grace is well deserved.
