GIST Management Ashok Chawla(Managing Director):-He is the founder of Universal Subscription Agency Pvt. Ltd. (USAPL), in 1980 and has been a pioneer in bringing innovative processes in the Subscription Industry in India. Recognizing the global shift in the environment from print media to electronic media, he established Global Information System Technology Pvt. Ltd. (GIST) in 1990.

Collin D?Mello(V.P Sales and Publisher relationships):-Collin heads the Sales and Marketing operations

of GIST. Collin joined GIST in 2000 and has developed an in depth understanding of the subscription industry in India having gained experience dealing with global publishers, library communities, consortia and industry. Collin is also responsible for formulation of publisher relationships and spearheading sales campaigns of new products and solutions. Prior to GIST, he was with NexStep InfoTech, an IBM partner organization responsible for promoting and developing collaborative solutions around IBM technologies.

Tarun Arora, (Chief Operating Officer):-In his role as the Chief Operating Officer, Tarun Arora is responsible for providing mission and values-based leadership, direction and support to all operating units of GIST. He is also working closely with the Executive Management team to set strategic direction for the company's next phase of growth. From 2003-2007, Tarun was Senior Vice President, Research Operations at New York based, Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where he was heading their India operations.  He built a team of over 120 people, responsible for growing the GLG Council Member network from 70,000 to over 150,000 experts globally. Prior to GLG, Tarun founded Jalva Media, a venture backed offshore outsourcing company focused on the digital media industry. Earlier, he was in the San Francisco Bay Area, working with companies like Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corporation. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas, Austin and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Wisconsin, Madison
