Sept. 27, Sun.- Gap Male Chorus will be at Landis Homes, 7 p.m. Sept. 28, Mon.- Board of Elders Meeting here at church, 7-9 p.m. Sept. 29, Tues. - Vision Team Meeting at church, 7 p.m. Oct. 3, Sat.-Woodcrest Retreat’s Benefit Auction and Children’s Country Fair. All activities begin at 9 a.m. Call 738-2233 for more information. Oct. 4, Sun. - Next Sun. is World Communion Sunday. We will join with Christians around the world in a service of communion and foot washing. Oct. 20, Nov. 3 &17 ( and maybe Dec. 4 )6:00- 8:00 p.m. are slated as "Family Nights". We hope to have a good response from our Released Time students and others in the community. But, again, we need YOU. Please check the sign-up sheet and pray about how you might help. Oct. 10, Sat. -Brecknock Township Fall Festival- More volunteers are still needed to bake pumpkin bread, serve cider, sing with the children, meet and greet, etc. Please sign up on sheets in narthex. GMC needs to make our presence known to our township neighbors! --Outreach Committee Oct. 18 & 19, Sun. & Mon. - Annual Renewal Meetings- Begin Sunday morning at 10:00 and continue Sunday evening and Monday evening, at 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Eric Marshall, Pastor at Blainsport Mennonite Church will be the speaker. Also, the monthly fellowship meal for October will be moved to Oct. 18, instead of the first Sunday of the month. Dec. 7 & 8, Mon. & Tues., 7:00 p.m. - Old Fashioned Christmas Carol Singings will be held at the Alleghany Mennonite Meetinghouse. Harvey Fox of Lititz will be the song leader.
