Gambling has been around for hundreds of years There has been three waves of gambling throughout history: 1. Colonial Period 2. End of the Civil War 3. Great Depression Gambling has still been going strong since the Great Depression There are forms of legal and illegal gambling in almost every country

Gambling was once outlawed in most states at about the same time as when prohibition took place Atlantic City and Las Vegas are the two biggest gambling cities in the United States

Teenagers and Gambling  



Many teenagers are active gamblers The most preferred methods of gambling by teenagers are by playing cards and gambling online Other teenagers like to gamble on sporting events like college football and professional football

Summary of #3 There were mixed feelings on if teenagers gambled if their parents gambled, but most of the people from the three age groups agreed that this happens sometimes.

Opinion 

I think that there is a problem with teenagers and gambling. More teenagers have gambling problems than people realize, and something should be done to solve this problem.
