Gambling Introduction Gambling is becoming prevalent in the United States. Besides horse racing and private betting on sporting contests and cards, many states have lotteries and licensed casinos. Even churches have bingo games and raffles. But is gambling approved by God? What does the Bible say? PSALM 24:1 The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. 1. Who really owns all wealth? 2. If we don't own it, can we do with it whatever we desire? DEUTERONOMY 8:18 "And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth ...." 3. Where does our ability to get wealth come from? LUKE 16:10 "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. (11) "Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? (12) "And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's who will give you what is your own?
